No. Five of the six public courses assume you can use a browser, a spreadsheet, and e-mail. Light Python appears only on Analysing Data and on Build a Small Internal Assistant, and even there every assignment has a no-code path. If you have never opened a terminal, you can still finish the work. If you already write scripts, I will not make you pretend otherwise, and I still want the homework on your real files rather than on a clever demo.
A laptop you may use for three hours, with a browser and a charger. Tablets are a poor fit because we type and we look at sheets. You do not need to buy a paid AI plan. Exercises are written for free tiers of chat assistants, spreadsheet copilots, and no-code automation. If your workplace already pays for a tool, bring that login. If a tool asks you to start a trial in the room, we switch. Headphones help on the online seat.
Yes. I teach in English, and the materials are in English. You should be comfortable reading work documents and joining a discussion at that level. I do not offer a Mandarin or Malay run of the same syllabus. If a group would rather have the private cohort in a mix of languages at the table, say so on the scoping call; my teaching will still be in English, and your team can talk among themselves as they need.
I issue a letter confirming that you attended and completed the homework I set. It is a letter from Learnaitoday, dated, with the course title and hours. The courses are independent. They are not accredited by any university, government agency, or software vendor. There is no SkillsFuture claim, no subsidy, and no partnership with a vendor that would let me hand out their badge. If you need a recognised qualification, this is the wrong place to look, and I will say so before you pay.
Write to me before it starts. You may sit the same session with the next public group of that course at no extra fee. If you miss it without a note, I will still send the recording of the taught segment and the notes; I cannot replay the walking-the-tables part. If you need to pause the whole course, the transfer rule is five working days before the first session. Inside that window I can only move you if someone else takes the seat.
Public courses run in the one-north classroom with a small number of online seats on the same hours. Online means live, with your camera on during the working blocks so I can see when you are stuck. It is not a watch-later product. If the online seats are full I will say so rather than squeeze a thirteenth person onto a call I cannot attend to. Private cohorts can be in your office, in my room, or hybrid if the microphone in the room is actually usable.
No, not if those people have not agreed, and not if your employer forbids it. I ask for a redacted copy that keeps the shape of the work: columns, paragraph length, folder structure. Names become letters. Account numbers become nonsense. If you are unsure, bring a dummy file with the same shape and tell me what you stripped. For private cohorts I sign an NDA before files move, and we still work on copies in the room. Public models and confidential packs do not mix.
Live teaching, session notes, recordings of the taught segments, written comments on homework, and the four-week clinic. Materials are included in the indicative fees on the courses page: S$690, S$390, S$520, S$690, S$890, and S$320 per seat depending on the course. You bring a laptop. Coffee in the building is on you. For private work the quote covers preparation on your files as well as the hours in the room; that is why a half-day primer starts from S$3,200 for up to twelve people rather than twelve times the public half-day fee.
Yes. I can invoice a Singapore company for a public seat or for a private cohort. Payment is by bank transfer against that invoice. I do not take a seat as confirmed until the fee has arrived, or, for private work, until the deposit of half has arrived. If you are paying yourself, the same invoice goes to you. I do not offer instalments on a four-evening course. If finance needs wording for “training” on the invoice, say so when you write; I will not invent an accreditation line to help the claim.
Twelve. I can still reach every table in a three-hour evening, and I can still remember what each person is building. A larger webinar can show a demo. It cannot sit with you when the first prompt fails on your ugly sheet. I turn people away rather than add a thirteenth chair. Private cohorts use the same cap, even in a big meeting room, because the method does not change with the furniture.
You might be, if your daily use already includes a written brief, a fact check, and a redacted file. Most daily users I meet are fluent and still paste a whole customer pack, or they accept a total they have not reconstructed. If that is not you, write to me with two examples of work you have already shipped with a model. I will tell you whether a public course will add anything, or whether you only need the half-day on confidentiality, or whether you should save the fee.
You keep your notes, your prompt pack, and your commented homework. Recordings stay up through the four-week clinic. The clinic is an optional online hour each week; bring whatever broke. After those four weeks I take the recordings down. There is no alumni programme and no job board. If you later want a private cohort for your team, we start from a scoping call. There is no discount code from the public course. If you are stuck on a process six months later, you may write to me; I will answer, and I will not pretend it is still the clinic.
