Why I started Learnaitoday
I opened Learnaitoday in 2026 because I kept watching the same scene. A workplace buys licences. People receive a login. Nobody sits with them while the first serious prompt fails on a real file. I wanted a room in Singapore where that sitting-with-you is the entire product.
How the school appeared
In early 2026 I was already spending evenings with small groups who had been told to “use AI” and had been given nothing else. The pattern was stable. The demonstration looked fine. Monday’s spreadsheet did not. The gap was not motivation. It was the absence of someone who would look at the actual screen, ask what the column meant, and wait while a person tried again.
I took a room at one-north, capped the seats at twelve, and wrote six public courses around work people already do. I teach them myself. There is no team page because there is no team to list. When a company wants the same habit for a group, I run a private cohort rather than pretend a webinar will transfer.
What I do besides class
Between public groups I take on short applied projects with small teams: scoping a process, sitting with the people who own it, and leaving them a loop they can run without me. I keep those engagements unnamed here. You will not find a logo wall or a list of results. If that kind of work is what you need, the for-teams page is the honest door.
The public notes on this site come from the classroom and the clinic. They stay off those projects. I am careful about that line. A company’s files stay in that company.
What I believe about teaching this
Skill in this field is a habit under time pressure. It shows up when the first answer is wrong and you still have forty minutes before a meeting. A lecture can name the habit. Only a live file can practise it. That is why homework is on your material and why I walk the tables instead of adding another slide.
Twelve is a teaching number. I can remember twelve tasks. I can reach twelve laptops in three hours. Past that, people hide, and I start performing. I would rather run a waiting list.
Confidentiality belongs inside the craft. If a course makes someone faster at pasting a customer export into a public model, I have made the week worse. We practise stripping files until it is boring. Boring is the goal.
What I do not promise
I do not promise a job, a salary change, or a new profession. I do not promise that a model will replace a function in your organisation, or that it will not. I do not promise accredited hours, vendor badges, or government funding. I promise live teaching, comments on your homework, and a four-week clinic. Whether the habit sticks is then yours, which is as it should be.
Learnaitoday is an independent training provider. Courses are not accredited by, and are not affiliated with, any university, government agency or software vendor.
Where we meet
The public classroom is at 79 Ayer Rajah Crescent, #04-08, Singapore 139955, in one-north. It is a simple room: tables for twelve, a board, decent light, and enough sockets. It is not a theatre. You can spread a laptop and a notebook without sitting in a row facing a stage.
The nearest MRT is one-north on the Circle Line. From the station it is about a six-minute walk. There is parking in the building if you come by car. Evening sessions start at 19:00; the lobby is still open. If you are joining online, I send the link the day before.
